It has been a decade since Jaujac, a small village located in France, proudly founded its arts and nature trail programs. In celebration of its 10 year anniversary public artist Gaëlle Villedary assisted the French village in creating a stunning piece of art that spans the streets of the village.
The green carpet sprawling the streets of the Jaujac is composed of 168 rollers of turf grass, approaching a length of almost 1,400 feet.
This piece of nature was designed to show the path of progress within the village. As a community Jaujac is striving to be closer to nature, live a more active life style, become less dependent on natural resources, andcreate unity amid nature and man by means of art.
